Organizational Members of the Cultural Alliance receive:

• A continually updated website with a comprehensive regional arts events calendar. It also includes a resource directory of all organizations and institutions in our region. A list of venues, grant opportunities and much more are included.
  
• Special member discounts at your757.com for members renewing by Sept. 1st.
• Group and individual health insurance is now available to our member organizations through Optima Health.
• Hampton Roads “Bravo” magazine published its first edition in 2008. This magazine is a partnership with Darden Publishing and the Cultural Alliance and is dedicated to the promotion of our arts and cultural community.
  
• Continuing events such as the ALLI Awards, giving us all the opportunity to recognize the many businesses and individuals that support our organizations and the annual June garden party for the arts. This year “Swing into Summer” was held at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
• Leadership Forums and Networking Nights give arts professionals and advocates opportunities to network, collaborate and learn from colleagues and professionals.
• The Arts Commissioners Roundtable meets twice a year to discuss issues of importance to all of Hampton Roads’ arts communities.
• Advocating for the arts at local, state and federal levels. The Cultural Alliance provides information to member organizations to help everyone become better advocates for the arts.
• Updates on advocacy and Fundraising at this year’s Member Breakfast on October 14th.
• The Cultural Alliance promotes our members through our e-CONNECTIONS online newsletter and other resources.
• A recent member survey will provide us with new data to discern what services are important to our members. Many of our current programs result from member suggestions.
