The Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance (HREDA) represents 15 jurisdictions in Southeastern Virginia to market the region nationally and internationally in conjunction with the resources and investment of the business community. HREDA localities include Chesapeake City, Franklin City, Gloucester County, Hampton City, Isle of Wight County, James City County, Newport News City, Norfolk City, Poquoson City, Portsmouth City, Southampton County, Suffolk City, Virginia Beach City, Williamsburg City and York County.
The mission of the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance is business attraction – marketing Virginia’s Hampton Roads Region as the preferred location for business investment and expansion. All Alliance initiatives and activities are designed to secure visits with qualified business prospects.
