Since 1968, the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission (CFAC) has served has the united voice for the arts community - - educating the public about the value and significance of music, architecture, drama, dance, painting, and sculpture. Through financial assistance to individuals, organizations, schools, and corporations, CFAC enriches both the personal lives of residents and the local economy. The Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission sponsors a large variety of programs and bring productions by the Virginia Symphony, Virginia Opera and Young Audiences of Virginia to area schools.
