The Commodore Chorus of Hampton Roads is a dynamic part of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA, Inc.), which boasts more than 35.000 members throughout the world. Our Norfolk Chapter has been in existence for more than 40 years and is a significant part of the history and heritage of barbershop harmony in the Southern Division of the Mid-Atlantic District. Members of the Commodore Chorus hail from all areas of Hampton Roads as well as Yorktown, Williamsburg, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
