Map/Directions421 Granby Street NorfolkVA23510 Phone: 757-961-7208 The Granby Theater was constructed around 1915, in the tradition of the archaic vaudeville and movie houses. After having been vacant, forgotten and run-down for nearly two decades, the Granby Theater has been restored to its orginal splendor.
Rober "Bobby" Wright and investors are proud to have fully restored this unique historic theater, and we are excited that it will bring the 400 block alive with new patrons and diverse entertainment. The theater will showcase many shows incorporated in the Virginia Arts Festival, the Virginia Symphony, as well as jazz and other live msic. The Granby Theater will also house private parties for some of our region's most prominent businesses and charities.
The Granby Theater's use is limited only by the imagaination of its patrons. This "night-club-meets-perfoming-arts-center" is a brand new type of facility... for a brand new millennium. Come escape to the future in a restored landmark of the past! For-Profit
